Globes CancelledGolden Globes are cancelled due to the Writer's Strike...anyone else disappointed or do we really care?
Will the strike effect the Oscars?  now that annoy me even more

I can't watch the Oscars anyway  but it's a shame if they got cancelled.
I thought the Golden Globes were having a lowkey ceremony or are they cancelled completely? I know stars like Keira Knightley weren't going to show up anyway.

No They have cancelled them now completely they are just literally going to announce the winners and thats it like a football draw

I hope they don't do the same for the Oscars
Maybe they should throw it up to a phone vote to decide the winners and all the money raised could go to the writers out on strike!

There would be war...writers may not be getting their internet funds but they are definitely not in the poor house
Could you imagine the Oscars done like that?
