Get SmartMel Brooks' hit 1960's spy parody television show Get Smart is getting the Hollywood film treatment and is set for release in Summer 2008
The film will star Steve Carell as Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway as Agent 99 . Alan Arkin will play the Chief. Terence Stamp, World Wrestling Entertainment professional wrestlers: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and The Great Khali will also star.
Bill Murray stars in this too as Agent 13
Apparently they are going to have a load from the old series in cameo roles aswell
It will be interesting to see this as I remember enjoying the old series as a kid.

If it's got wrestlers in it then Andy will love it 
I've heard about the prog before and I think I've seen clips from it (on youtube maybe???) is it where he walks down a corridor and doors keep shutting after him?

Yep that was the ending of the show every week babe where all the doors shut after him...... and I think he ends up forgetting something then at the end and has to go the whole way back or something or maybe he gets trapped?? It was good

George Clooney's being linked to the film. The film was originally going to open with a dream sequence with Arnold Schwarzenegger.......he decided he didn't want to do it, so the Warner Bros President of Productions wants George Clooney to do a dream sequence instead.

Sounds good babe I wonder why Arnold Schwarzenegger wouldn't do it?? I guess he considers himself more the politician now than Hollywood star  Though Clooney will be good
