Q . name the 2 films christopher lambert and mario van pebbles star in together .
Catnapper

Is it the Highlander films? I've seen 1 and 2 and I think MVP was in them?
big aundy

yeah cat highlander 3 , and the other film is ?
Catnapper

I was hoping they'd been in 2 Highlander films together so I'd get the answer right

Hmm.... I'm trying to think of Lambert's films.........Greystoke or Beowulf maybe?
big aundy

all i'll say is it was on last night on 5 us
Catnapper

I know Resident Evil:Apocalypse was on last night.....was it that one?
Lucifer_666

it wasn't Knight Moves was it:-?
big aundy

nope , will give it till midday then i'll give you the answer ,
Catnapper

What's the answer?!!
big aundy

the answer is gunmen , which also starred jean luc picard ( patrick stewart).

ok who would like a go next
Jipdog

Damn it! If I had been on recently, I would have got that! Patrick Stewart had a dodgy accent in it too, if memory serves me correct.
Catnapper

What dodgy accent did he have Jip cause I don't think I've seen Gunmen before?!
big aundy

cat you must see it , it's brilliant and funny as hell .

stars lambert , van pebbles , stewart and denis leary
Catnapper

I'll look out for that one when it comes on again
Jipdog

It was some sort of Deep South accent if I remember correctly, but it kind of goes wrong here and there. Not seen it in sometime but it was good from what I remember.
Jipdog

Got one: Which film had Ian Dury and Iggy Pop among it's cast?
Lucifer_666

Oh had Stewart some scenes with kids in that one and he looked rather dirty in it...or am i thinking of a different movie

oh was that one of the Crow movies mate..... i seen another one of the crow movies not that long ago and it had Angel from Buffy as the bad guy and that Ed Furlong as the new crow...it was cringeworthy
Jipdog

Your right Luc, it was the second one: The Crow: City Of Angels. That was cack too. The third one's not too bad Salvation. It has Kirsten Dunst in it.

Which famous actor has a small role as an air traffic controller at the beginning of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind?
Lucifer_666

Oh i havent seen that one with Kirsten Dunst bud  i must watch out for it

As for your question.... i think you got me with that one
Catnapper

I've seen Close Encounters loads of times and can't remember seeing a famous actor at the beginning
Jipdog

I will give untill tomorrow before I put you out of your misery!
Catnapper

Good
Lucifer_666

 until then its guessing time....

Brad Pitt, Kevin Bacon, erm..... Denzil Washington....Nicholas Cage
Catnapper

I'll guess Tom Hanks, Walter Matthau, Jack Lemon or Warren Beatty......I'm trying to think of famous actors from when the film was made
big aundy

David Anderson or Bill Thurman
Jipdog

Right gave you all a bit of extra time, so to put you out of your misery......

MORGAN FREEMAN
Catnapper

I knew that

I'll have to watch it again!
Lucifer_666

i did say Denzel Washington...does that not count   its sort of close
Catnapper

Nice try Luc but totally wrong
Lucifer_666

Heeeeey ..its not that totally wrong
big aundy

right next Q please
Lucifer_666

Okay here's an easy one but kind of festive

Which movie set at Xmas do we see a sign saying "Now I have a machine gun. Ho ho ho"?
big aundy

A . die hard
Catnapper

Yippee ki yay....I think you're right Windu
Lucifer_666

yes your sitting on a beach earning twenty percent man....your right

Jipdog

"Strange things are afoot at the Circle K" What film and who said it?
big aundy

bill and ted's excellent adventure
Jipdog

Which character?
big aundy

bill
Jipdog

Top man!
Lucifer_666

Okay two more festive questions

How many Spirits visit Ebenezer Scrooge in a Christmas Carol?

In 'It's a Wonderful Life', what movie was playing at the theater in Bedford Falls?

Jipdog

4 and Bugger I've Forgotten.
Catnapper

I don't remember that film title Jip

3 and I think it was that Bing Crosby film The Bells of Saint Mary's (or Mary)
Jipdog

I'm pretty sure it's 4 Cat. The ghosts of Christmas present, past and future and the ghost of Jacob (Morley?) who warns him of the other spirits visiting him that night. Ask that question to almost anyone and they will say 3 as they always think of the Christmas spirits and forget Jacob.
Catnapper

Oh yeah that's right Jip...I totally forgot about Jacob Marley   I watched Alistair Sim as Scrooge only the other night too!
Jipdog

Thought it was Marley then I thought no it must be Morley as I was thinking of Bob Marley at the time for some reason.
Lucifer_666

Yep your both right its The Bells of St Mary's and it was 4 ghosts...most do
think three at first when asked that question
Catnapper

Yeah it's one of those trick questions Luc!
Lucifer_666

I'm a tricky guy babe...
Catnapper

In that case....set another tricky question for us then
Lucifer_666

oh...ermm... okay....

In The Flight of the Navigator what is the full name of the alien ship's computer?

What was the name of the robot that went crazy in the movie Alien?

Zhora, Leon, Pris, and Roy were a group of characters in which film?
big aundy

right the ssecond one is ash .
Jipdog

Was number 1 Maximillian? Flight Of The Navigator is one of my favourite films and I'm annoyed that I can't remember for sure!
Catnapper

I can only remember him calling the computer Max and I've seen the film umpteen times
Lucifer_666

Okay yes the second answer is Ash ...thats right Sta

As for the second one you both are right that the kid calls him Max and it is a shortened down version of what the computer identifies itself as.....its not maximillian though
big aundy

3rd one is blad runner

max is actually short for trimaxion
Catnapper

I know Blad Runner was a typo Windu but now I'm imagining a film where the hero's desperate to use the loo
Jipdog

Bummer. Trimaxion. That sounds right now I think about it!
Catnapper

It sounds simple when you see the answer Jip   I'm annoyed I didn't remember it!
Jipdog

That makes 2 of us Cat!
Lucifer_666

Well you did want them tricky

Well done Sta

I have visions of Harrison Ford holding his crotch while running for a toilet in the futuristic rainy city of Blad Runner
Catnapper

I'm laughing so much at the image of Harrison Ford hunting down a loo in Blad Runner that I don't know whose turn it is to ask the next question
Lucifer_666

i want to see that film...in every scene he's jogging on the spot dying for the loo
Jipdog

Probably be the most emotion he's ever shown in a film!
Lucifer_666

Ohhhhhhhhh thats skating on the edge Jip..how can you say that about the Ford himself
Catnapper

Jip's calling Harrison   ....now. if it was Nic Cage you meant......
Jipdog

Don't get me wrong, I like Harrison Ford and his films, but you got to admit he doesn't really have that much of an emotional range. I remember something they done in Empire a few years ago which was The Many Faces Of Harrison Ford. It was a page of multiple prints of the same picture of Harrison and each had a caption underneath: Happy, Scared, Angry, Constipated etc. I did laugh when I saw it, but as I say, he is one of my favourite actors.
Lucifer_666

yeah i do know what you mean he cannot really pull off the sentimental or heartbroken kind of roles...well he can in a limited basis i suppose in his action films but apart from that he can't really...for example i could never see Harrison play an AIDS surferer like Hanks in Philadelphia ...that actually could be interesting to see wouldn't it    just as he's about to die this door begins to close and just before it does a hand reaches outto snatch an old brown hat to that Indy music

Ohhhh that Nic Cage babe urrrggghhhh     why does he keep getting these really established roles?? i'll never know
