Kitsch has apparently signed a three picture deal, which would suggest that Gambit, a mutant with the power to make objects explosive by charging them with kinetic energy, will play a major role, but could mean that Fox is merely hedging its bets.
It's been a long wait to see Gambit in a X-Men movie, who's been rumoured since the first film was announced. We're a little disappointed that Lost's Josh Holloway won't be playing the role, because he would have been perfect casting, but we can't wait to see him and his explosive playing cards on screen.
In other Wolverine news, Aintitcool is repeating the long circulating rumour that Ryan Reynolds will cameo in the movie as Deadpool, a lesser know smart-ass mercenary character. As we said, the story's been doing the rounds for a while, but AICN says they have it confirmed. This would be fantastic casting. |

I love the thoughts that both these characters are coming into the movies territory but most of all Deadpool as I think he opens up another doorway by perhaps introducing Cable and X Force later down the line....which really could be kick ass films  
I'm starting to really look forward to this Wolverine film

The talk mate is 1st of May 2009 though I think your right and it may be delayed for a month or so to get the Summer Holiday crowds in
It should be a great film ..I love when they start adding the other characters from the comics in too

Some more news......Dominic Monaghan (my favourite from Lost  ) has been cast as Barnell (AKA Blackwing) a mysterious character from Wolverine's past who can manipulate energy.
Daniel Henney joins the cast as Agent Zero, who possesses expert tracking and marksmanship skills.
It's all shaping up nicely

I don't know Barnell (Blackwing) all too well I think he came about after I had well finished reading comics
I do remember Agent Zero though ...you know he was originally called Maverick

Well if I seen one there beside me I would feel a real undenieable urge to pick it up and read it but no I haven't gotten any now in years ...have loads packed away though from years ago

I bought one every week when I was young.......my mum used to go with me to town and I'd buy it from a stall in the local market
