A Song I'm really liking at the moment is the one that plays in the V Festival advert on CH4/E4
It took a bit of investigating but finally discovered it was a crowd called 'The Temper Trap' and the song is 'Sweet Disposition' ...it stays in my head everytime I hear it

. It also kind of reminds me of a U2 song particularly the beginning and the guitar background

i loved REM (still do really) but can't help but feel a llittle cheated by them particularly when they became massive...there was a time when i felt like they were my individual band when they were small as silly as that sounds but then they hit it big and everyone knew them i felt like I was sharing

i have gotten over it now ..i'm not dragging this REM hurt baggage around with me now

It's alright, I felt the same about bands like the Pixies after they got big and let it get to them, for me they'll never top the earlier stuff like 'Surfer Rosa'. But perhaps some favourites from my listening choices of late will cheer us up-

the Groove Armada - At the River one Cat.....its definitely the same music though the ad just has the saxophone part
