Favourite action hero

Who's your fave?

For me it's gotta be Bruce Willis in the Die Hard films.......that smirk, the one liners......he's the all round action hero!
Lucifer_666

Yeah Babe I like Bruce Willis too but if I was voting I think I would go with Arnie....back in the 80's and 90's he was the man..... there was a time when I used to constantly get his films when I was younger......well him and Jean Claude Van Damme.....I know..... I was sad!!!
Lucifer_666

Oh the ads must always land on the last message :?
Catnapper

Hey I like Arnie and Jean Claude too Luc......I always watch their films on tv. Same with Steven Seagal......he might be a rubbish actor but I like his films
Catnapper

Yeah I noticed about the ads......they change every time though.......there was an ad for lint removal on your last post
Lucifer_666

Ah yeah Steven Segal do you remember Michael Dudikoff? He was in the American Ninja series of movies?

Lint removal???
Catnapper

No I've never heard of him Luc! Is he any good?
Lucifer_666

He was the in thing at the time... when Kung fu types of movies were coming out.... here's a pic....

I was never really into Chick Norris now yet loads loved him
Catnapper

Chick Norris I think you mean Chuck......or maybe he's a chick magnet?!!
Lucifer_666

It was a typo but also sort of apt....I never reallly saw him as the tough guy others did....so Chick Norris suits babe And I never understood how he pulled the ladies.....
Catnapper

Yeah he always looked a bit weedy to me and the tache didn't do him any favours either!
Lucifer_666

I used to hate The Texas Ranger thingy too that he used to star in
Catnapper

That's something else I've never seen before!

Was it a modern day show or an old fashioned Western type?
Lucifer_666

Walker... Texas Ranger ...he was like a modern day Ranger but he just did kung fu kicks all the time... I didn't watch it too often myself
Catnapper

A Texas Ranger kung fu kicker.......interesting combo!
lord vader

well seeing as he was 60 on tuesday and he is the ultimate king of action it must be arnie .

willis is great too .
Lucifer_666

Yeah Cat it was a modern day KUNG FU without David Carradine

Arnie...60???? Christ Sta I didn't realise he was that old.....he looks good for his age...... he may actually live to see himself President of the US...
lord vader

yeah he is , the had an arnie day on the movies channels on sky , terminator , commando and conan were on , superb .
Lucifer_666

Ahhh I love those movies...when he was in his prime!!!
lord vader

chuck norris is a kickboxer thats why he kicks all the time .
Lucifer_666

I didn't know that Sta... I knew he was into some kind of martial art but I never thought he was any good!!
lord vader

yeah he was great till bruce came along
Lucifer_666

Yeah Carradine in Kung Fu could kick Chuck's ass but Bruce Lee could kick Carradine's and Norris's asses together....so there....yes this is the conversation I remember having as a child
lord vader

, brue could have kicked all there candy asses .
Lucifer_666

Ok course Jackie Chan could kick Brucie's ass too
lord vader

rubbish man , bruce would wipe them all out .
Lucifer_666

Yeah but Jackie would have that Chris Tucker with him whose voice would drive poor Bruce mad and then Jackie would finish him off
YoUtAlKiNgToOmE

Stallone for me.And yes admittingly brucie baby.

But i have to say, watching jean claude van damme films, especially the ones that go straight to DVD,are very entertaining to watch, lots of action. He seems to have made loads of em,and Steven Segal, but hey if you want a dialogue esk type of film, then steer clear, but if it`s a no brainer, than look no further than these two guys.
