Brit sequels?

I read an interview Noel Clarke gave and this is an extract from the interview........

"I'm going to name three British sequels and I defy you to name any more" he challenges us. "Bridget Jones 2, Mr Bean's Holiday and 28 Weeks Later." Minus Bond films and Harry Potters, we're stuck with 1963's The Mouse On The Moon, the sequel to The Mouse That Roared. "Sequels just aren't done in this country" he adds matter-of-factly. "It's an amazing feat just to be able to do that."

I can think of one sequel.....Adulthood, the sequel to Clarke's Kidulthood   Are there any other British sequels?

For the life of me I can't think of one other.sequel ..though I'd say there may be more   i guess most brit flicks are not that globally successful to warrant a sequel or are summed up in the first film so its hard to come up with a decent sequel

I'm finding it hard to think of a sequel too....maybe British filmmakers concentrate more on original work rather than endless sequels

yeah ....any brit director would love to spawn a rake of sequels i bet   but i do reckon your right and the most successful of brit films are original types leaving sequels hard to forsee
