Any ideas?Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? I seem to be in a bit of a rut since I got back from America- I can't find a suitable job or help getting one and I just need something to put the spark back into life- since I finished uni I seem to have lost a bit of sparkle and I have no idea how to get it back for now......

Crikey mate give yourself a break. ...your only back sure  perhaps vegging out for a while and not worrying about things will do you a world of good......its going to be a different time for you now but you'll get there bud

Listen to some feelgood music and watch some uplifting or comedy dvds to get your sparkle back......then launch yourself on to the job market and explore every possibility that comes your way! Read Yes Man by Danny Wallace....amusing and inspiring and better than the Jim Carrey film (though that was quite good  )

I am indeed- I was just feeling a bit restless after going from uni to nothing as well as getting no reward from various hobbies but I think I'll live.

Apparently I'm quite creative so I think I shall pursue interests in that particular field and see where it gets me. I'm having no luck phoning the job centre lately- nobody's ever there to take the call.....

Well, I had my appointment today and it was all fun and games- got sent by the local job centre to one a few miles away who then told me I could actually be dealt with at the one closer to home! Then I was booked in for an appointment this afternoon which the adviser was late for!
But at least things will hopefully move forward now- I can;;t face the thought of going in there again.....

Yep, but they didn't really need to do much at all- seems they're on tea break from 9 to 5 pretty much.

Yes, the places are so dull and depressing! Ah well- I now have an up to date CV so I've done at least one productive deed today, for some reason I felt like I'd been procrastinating.....

I hope they all get back to you....I think it's awful how some firms don't send back word. I know sometimes it's to save time and money but that's no consolation if you're waiting to see if you've got a job or not.

I'm planning on waiting to see how I get on with the ones I've gone for before I apply for more as at the moment I can't find any more that interest me!

You should apply to work on a film magazine, then you can do interviews with the stars and report any gossip back here on Filmflicking
