Ali G IndahouseITV showed this a few nights ago and I hadn't seen it for years! As a result I'd forgotten just how funny Sacha Baron Cohen can be. Ali becomes MP for his native Staines as part of a plot by a treacherous underling of the Prime Minister (Michael Gambon) to take his place in hope that he will be outed by Ali's ineptitude. But the PM grows to like Ali and against all odds the halfwit helps the Government win praise.
It's all very well done, and underneath the crude humour there is a serious message. I loved some of the ruder jokes and the satire on show throughout and I still think its an under rated movie.

I just think it's funny that all these little plebs think he's the bee knees when the whole point of the character is to take the smeg out of them. I remember when I went to see it, half the cinema was full of Rude Boys trying to be black and the other half was Headbangers. The Rude Boys were sitting there thinking that Ali G was their God and we were sitting there thinking this is the most ironic we have ever seen!

I just dread to think what goes on on the programme.. is it a bawdy part chat/part bedroom affairs show, or do they stick to what they know?

I wouldn't be surprised to be honest as Richard Medley is kind of racey i always thought so i could see him wanting to talk about his bedroom antics with Jugs...i mean judy Did you see that his 18 year old daughter Chloe done a sexy photoshoot lately for a mag and asked her dad beforehand and he was all for it....Why am i not surprised
