A slice of AmericanaWell, I'm off for a fortnight in Florida from Thursday- my flight's at the shatteringly early time of 9.15 in the morning, meaning I'll be leaving home to fly from Gatwick at some godforsaken hour courtesy of having to be there three hours before the damned flight! But I'm hoping it should be worth it- I've always wanted to see America and it should make for a nice break after three years of study. Looks like I'll be going to some theme parks and typical touristy attractions but I also want to see a bit of sport while I'm there if I can help it. It's not quite sunk in yet but I'm sure it will after I spend nine hours on a plane........
