A new toy....Basically I've spent this weekend tinkering with a magical new toy- a Virgin Media V+ box! It's really quite good, think of a less complicated Sky box and you get the idea.
It means I can access the hitherto withheld realms of rewinding live TV and easily recording programmes from all channels amongst other things, which I've been putting to good use to help myself keep up with the BBC's Beatles week so far.
It tells you something when among the highlights of the previous week has been tinkering about the house- no letters from prospective employers yet mean that at the moment I'm terminally unemployed though I do have a meeting with a student support agency this coming week so fingers crossed!

I have enough trouble with my DVDR+freeview never mind a Virgin Media box 
Something will come along jobwise, I'm sure Morphy, but good luck with the student support agency!

Oh, I was already with Virgin bud...and hopefully after 5pm on Thursday I'll be a step closer to knowing whether I could be fulfilling a student support role in the hopefully not too distant future....
