A Life In The Day

In light of the recent heightened interest in all things Beatles, I noticed a rumour that Jude Law was being coveted to play the Fab Four's manager Brian Epstein in a film called ' A Life In The Day' which would focus on his life and work with the Beatles- and in a further twist Law has apparently admitted that he would like to play the role as he is a big Beatles fan ( aren't we all?)

Epstein officially signed the Beatles as clients in January 1962 after watching them perform at the Cavern Club in Liverpool and helped them sign to Parlophone Records where they worked with producer George Martin on the majority of their studio albums up until his death in 1967 after a drug overdose. He was often called the ' fifth Beatle', and his first management contract with the group was auctioned in London in 2008, selling for £240, 000.

I can see Jude Law as Brian Epstein, so I'm pleased with the casting   Is the film's title a play on A Day In The Life?

I'm intrigued to see who'll be playing The Beatles!
Emperor Morphetine

I believe it is a pun, yes- and no word on who might be playing the Beatles as yet.
Lucifer_666

i was going to say the big question is who will play Yoko Ono but i just read there that the guy died in 67 so no Yoko
Emperor Morphetine

Indeed not, it'll be interesting to see who plays the band though.

Lucifer_666

Emperor Morphetine

Well, having watched the TV series 'Funnybones' as a child I think I can vouch for that....
Lucifer_666

what exactly was this Funnybones teaching the youth?
Emperor Morphetine

They were a bunch of skeletons who lived with a dog, this may jolt the grey matter- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZYsUOZmRwM

Emperor Morphetine

I'd never heard that before I saw it on telly and just now!
Lucifer_666
