This is the first in an occasional series where I highlight a movie I've seen either at the cinema or the small screen, and which I urge you never to watch because it's so unutterably bad I'd be doing you a favour. Of course there will be those tempted to go ahead and watch anyway, so think of this as a public service. This post was prompted by a recent rrip to the movies. I'm therefore glad that the inaugural movie in this series is going to be

PANDORUM - An unbearable feeling of boredom such as I've never experienced before came over me whilst I watched this (and believe me because I paid to see The Sin Eater, those who've been unfortunate to see that "film" know what I'm talking about) Stealing from other movies is a general accepted and permitted rule, but when those ideas cover up the fact that your film is void of original thought then you're in trouble. It was bad enough, but for the filmmakers who though it best to leave it open ended for a, god forbid, sequel was optimistic to say the least.

So please I emplore those like me who thought the trailer looked good, do yourself a favour and pick something else.

This was on my "films to watch or buy the dvd" list but I read a scathing review the other day about Pandorum and changed my mind! If it's as bad as you say Nostromo, I made the right decision

I might watch it when it comes onto Sky. I probably won't like it either, but you never know, after all one man's poo is another man's gold. Or something like that.

Which by an amazing coincidence was the entire budget for the movie!
