Just got this on worstpreviews.com

worstpreviews.com wrote:

The first shots from the upcoming David Fincher (Fight Club) film, entitled "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," have been published in a magazine. They feature a shot of a very ugly baby, which is actually a look (view above) at what Brad Pitt will look like as an infant in the movie. Apparently, each time we see the character in different stages of his life, Pitt's face will be placed over the actual actor's face.

Based on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" tells the story of an elderly man (Pitt) who ages backwards. At the age of 50, he falls in love with a 30-year-old woman (Cate Blanchett) and then must come to terms with the relationship as they literally grow in opposite directions.

In addition, a reader of HollywoodElsewhere wrote in about his friend's experiences working on the set of the new movie. The friend is a costume designer and had lots of great things to say.

"Top to bottom she said the set and production was a dream, that both David Fincher and Brad Pitt were consummate professionals, and that the script was top-notch -- the only script she can recall making her cry, she said. She added that the look and scope of design of the film while ambitious is also intricate and exacting. Furthermore, she mentioned that some of the sequences they saw that had been edited were absolutely stunning. Her description of the mood of those who worked on it is that of bated breath -- a near universal belief that they have made an outstanding and moving film, one that transcends and one they wish not to jinx by too much loose talk."

Does this sound like a weird film or what???    and Pitt looks as weird in baby mode   here's the original link anyway....

I see the trailer for this is out and it looks quite good I reckon in a sentimental heartbreaking kind of way    almost fairytale like too

It's a strange one alright and I could imagine Johnny Depp doing it, not Brad Pitt. Or maybe Pitt's going for quirkier roles now like Johnny Depp does?

It has an Edward Scissorhands surreal, fairy tale feel to it and I think it'll be a hit......but it'll be a tear jerker too.

I think Pitt has started doing that more now since Fight Club though I know where your coming from it does have a ring of Edward Scissorhands

I reckon Brad Pitt is a very underated actor. I think the pretty boy image has actually done him no favours when it comes to being given credit as most of his roles are very different and they come across as very different unlilke some actors who, basically, play the same role from one film to another!

Looks an interesting film for sure.

I never really took much notice of him when he was younger.....he just didn't appeal and I didn't even think he was handsome! But I liked him in the Ocean films......he and George Clooney reminded me of Robert Redford and Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy with their jokey relationship. I think Pitt's blossoming more now with the quirkier films he's doing and I like him now!

Yep I have to say I really like Brad Pitt aswell...and years ago I was like you Cat I just thought he was another pretty boy actor but over the last few years he has really picked some great roles and has been exellent in the films too....in a way he is slightly underrated.....though I think his private going ons with Anniston/ Jolie haven't helped his status
