|
|
I read this recently and thought it sounded very interesting for those Spidey fans....I wonder who the enemy or enemies are?? Here's hoping the Hobgoblin makes an appearance
A "trusty" source for Cinematical contacted them with some interesting news about forthcoming SPIDER-MAN films:
Apparently, in the last few weeks, James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) has turned in a working draft of Spider-Man 4 to the studio. However, according to our source, "his story arc has encompassed two films, making Spider-Man 5 shootable at the same time. The studio saw dollar signs and is in the process of reworking his deal to snatch up the story arc."
...says THIS ARTICLE at Cinematical.
Still no word on who'll direct, although Raimi hasn't completely discounted the notion

| A storyline arc covering 2 films sounds good to me as long as the script is good enough and they don't have too many baddies with too few scenes like in the last Spidey film. |

Well the two films does give it that bit more time to explore the villains stories...but it does have me intrigued on who or what this will be about to warrant two films back to back?? _________________

| It'll have to be a big storyline to span 2 films so I'm guessing it's about Carnage......isn't he supposed to be more powerful than Spidey or Venom? |

Thats right...but what makes Carnage worse than Venom in particular is because the symbiont (black stuff) when it first joins with someone that person imprints itself into its subconscious in a way which is why although Venom is evil he still has a moral center of right and wrong that he got from Peter Parker...which sometimes means Venom will do the right thing but Carnage first joins with a serial killer who is literally nuts and so always has that in his pysche
I'm still hoping Hobgoblin appears _________________

Oh he sounds a nasty piece of work Luc
There are a few baddies I'd like to see.........Carnage, Hobgoblin, Vulture, Electro or Scorpion......I'd be happy seeing any of them crop up in the films. |

Funny you mention all them because maybe that is what it is about why did I not think of this before...could it be the 'Sinister Six'???? Which is basically a big group of spidey villains who get together to kill him.....the members changed throughout the years in the comics so loads of the ones you mentioned there Cat could be in there...they all where at one stage _________________

A Sinister Six storyline could stretch to 2 films and we'd get to see more of the baddies this time round instead of it being rushed like in Spiderman 3.
I've also got something at the back of my mind that I read about a few months ago..........it was about resetting Spiderman history so that he and Mary Jane never happened. I thought they were talking about the comics cause I think Spiderman comics are still being made, but maybe it has something to do with the films? |

Funny I remember reading something like that too and i think it was the comics rather than the films and to be honest I can sort of understand it ....Its been thought this while that having them a serious couple/married was putting off younger readers and fans and they want to keep a young audience....
There was also A Sinister Seven and Twelve but the Six is the most famous _________________
