OK I know we still have a few months to the end of the year but I thought I'd look back at the first part of this year cinema wise. Saturday saw me pay my 50th visit to the movies this year and I thought this was as good a time as any to list my 10 movies of the year up to and including those films released by 4th of September. They are in no particular order

1 Revolutionary Road
2 The Wrestler
3 Inglourious Basterds
4 District 9
5 Gran Torino
6 Bruno
7 Looking for Eric
8 (500) Days of Summer
9 Vicky Christina Barcelona
10 Milk

There were turkeys, so rather than keep them for Christmas
Here they are now

1 Lesbian Vampire Killers (by a clear margin)
2 Friday the 13th
3 The Unborn
4 Push
5 The Boat That Rocked (a bad year for British "comedies")
6 Knowing
7 Tormented
8 Blood: The Last Vampre
9 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
10 Star Trek

Anybody got anything to add to my lists?
