Saw the SW film on ITV yesterday and have to say, what is all the bloody fuss about?! I just don't get this whole SW thing. It was really boring as the majority of the SW films I've seen have been. And Yoda, why do people listen to someone who can't even string a sentence together?!?!

Sorry but ST does it so much better - lol All this feel the force nonsense. I kind of felt sorry for Anakin though nd could see why he went to the dark side, probably much more fun - lol.

I've always liked Star Trek better than Star Wars. The SW films are ok but the characters don't seem as believable as they do in ST.......and the sfx/cgi looks amateurish at times in SW too!

Of all the films to watch and declare Star Wars boring from ...it just had to be Attack of the Clones... ..If your judging the the entire lot by this film or for that matter judging the rest by any of the prequels I think your doing the francise a serious disservice though. You see I agree with you here about AOTC I really felt it was the worst Star Wars film by a long shot and its the one that has disappointed me the most. The script is disgracefully bad and lacked any type of real humour...I just could not warm to the characters partly due to the plot partly the diabolical dialogue but mostly because the prequels were in bad need of a more normal lead character (they could have had him a friend of Anakin from Childhood or something?) This character would not be a Jedi but would have been part of the main group..you see to me the Jedi when together are boring...too serious and straightlaced and I have to admit Honey I know what you mean when you say you understand why Anakin would jump ship to the Dark Side. And don't get me started on the cgi in the prequels    however it wasn't so much the animators of the cgi but how they were put into the film and interacted with the real people that was the problem for me....it was woefully bad ...I always say that Peter Jackson could have given Lucas a lesson on how to successfully incorporate an unliving computer character into a film of real people..all you have to do is look at Gollum in LOTR to see that.
I also don't think you can compare Star Trek to Star Wars they are very different animals here....its like comparing The Neverending Story to The Matrix

I do love the original trilogy though...they are great films
