BBC Two is showing the second series of Heroes from tonight ( I'm watching it as we speak). I loved the first series, it's science fiction with a difference- seemingly ordinary people discover they have superpowers and go about shaping their destinies.
In addition to the characters from the first series two new heroes- Alejandro and Maya are introduced as the stories of the others develop further.

I watched it too mate it was good I'm delighted to see it back...I also love the Feudal Japan scenes and the scene with Mr Bennet eventually having enough from his boss at the Supermarket
I mean't to watch the second episode on BBC THREE but got interrupted and said then I'd wait till next week to watch it on BBC 2 _________________

I read how the 2nd season's not supposed to be as good as the 1st one but I thought last night's episode was great I so wanted Bennett to have a go at his boss and I'm happy he did
I'm intrigued by what powers Alejandro and Maya have........and how they'll fit into the storyline. Molly was scary.....especially when she yelled at poor Greg Grunberg |

Yep I heard that too but I really enjoyed the start last night aswell
I also heard its mean't to get even better in the second half of the season (or the end of the second season going into the third....whatever you want to call it after the strike?? )
And yep Molly was a bit freaky then alright though I suppose there is somebody who appears to be stalking her dreams at night ...it would get anyone down _________________

Yeah it's confusing how it'll be split up thanks to the strike......they should charge a reduced price for the DVD if the seasons have less episodes.
I thought it could have been a let down after the big build up in the 1st season....but last night's ep was excellent and I really enjoyed it....especially the last few minutes where it's set in Ireland |

He's English not American Luc His father was Irish and DK is quite good at accents...... but I read an interview DK did and he was saying how the ones playing Irishmen were told to keep altering the accents (probably to make it easier for American ears).....so the accents ended up different! |

I was a bit shocked to find that Kensei was originally an Englishman (well, an American portraying an Englishman but there you are). And from what I saw of the second episode Maya and Alejandro's powers are rather nifty, I shan't say more though because it'll spoil it for those who haven't seen it.
This second series has certainly started with a bang, but I'm not sure its as good as the first one- give it time though. _________________ The Dark Side is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be..unnatural. |

Yep that was a bit of a surprise finding him to be an English guy....of course I suppose that was a way of confusing us all later or leaving us suspense on who is the future head person using that f sign thingy?? Though was that symbol on the sword? Because it was the Japanese woman's family that forged it for Kensei I believe??
I do think it was always going to be difficult to recreate the same impact the first episode of the series had...I think the fact that we know all the characters and their abilities/powers already save a few newbies has alot to do with that but I still really enjoyed it....any one else missing those great Isaac drawings that used to be interlaced throughout the series of certain events? Maybe Peter Petrelli will for some reason do some later _________________
