Filming will run from March 2nd to May 9th in Toronto on "Max Payne", the Mark Wahlberg-led film adaptation of the hit video game reports Filefront.

John Moore (Behind Enemy Lines, The Omen, Flight of the Phoenix) is set to direct the story of a New York cop whose wife and baby are killed by thugs high on a designer drug called Valkyr. Devastated, the cop joins the Drug Enforcement Agency and goes undercover with the mob to find the source of the drug.

Framed for the murder of his partner and hunted down by both the mob and the police, he is forced to wage a one-man war against crime

Expect lots of slowed down matrix like special effects in this (bullet time) as anyone who has played the game knows this was employed alot

yeah really good game , one that i have completed , it such a film like story line this should be easy to put on the big screen

I have to say though Wahlberg wouldn't have been my first choice mate

I see Mila Kunis ("That 70's Show") will star opposite Mark Wahlberg in "Max Payne"

Kunis will play an assassin who teams up with Payne to avenge her sister's death. The John Moore-directed action project with Beau Thorne scripting is scheduled for release later this year.

I see no problem with this casting
