I spent my Monday evening this week laughing myself hoarse, as I went to see the ' I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' team on their live nationwide stage tour. For the uninitiated it's Radio Four's ' antidote to panel games' and it's very silly indeed!
Jack Dee was in the chair vacated by the late great Humphrey Lyttleton, with Tim Brooke-Taylor & Jeremy Hardy and Barry Cryer & Graeme Garden making up the teams to play such rounds as 'Mornington Crescent', 'One Song To The Tune Of Another', 'Sound Charades' and 'Just A Minim'. And I really like it because it's all done in good fun with no real 'agenda' of sorts and actually rewards those panellists who can demonstrate skill in wordplay etc- a more cerebral kind of comedy.
And I even ended up meeting Barry & Graeme afterwards, they seemed really nice although they didn't stand around long enough to get much out of but it didn't spoil my night, easily the funniest thing I've seen this year and I'd certainly recommend it to potential interested listeners.

I thought Barry Cryer was dead
It's one of those shows I've heard about and never get round to listening to! Has it ever neen on tv because it sounds like it's well suited to tv? |

Well BBCFour did once film them doing an edition live from the Edinburgh Fringe but as far as I know that's the nearest it's got to TV, usually its on Radio Four at 6.30 on a Monday evening when they do a series. _________________ The Dark Side is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be..unnatural. |

| I know it's been going for quite a few years and it has a cult following, so I'm surprised they haven't put it on tv! |

I'm not sure it'd translate that well to telly- especially 'Mornington Crescent'..... _________________ The Dark Side is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be..unnatural. |

Basically it's their spoof of Monopoly but they use London train/Tube stations and the objective is to get to Mornington Crescent station! _________________ The Dark Side is a pathway to many abilities, some considered to be..unnatural. |

The whole point being there are actually no real rules, they're made up as they go along!
