The scoop mongers at Latinoreview have covertly discovered who Marvel wants to pick up Steve Rogers shield last seen on Tony Stark’s workbench!

I have myself a trusted source internally over at Marvel and they are now starting to toss names for the role of Steve Rogers.
The name at the top of the list?

LEONARDO DICAPRIO

(Please in all that is holy and good in this world please please do not allow this to be true) How can that boy play Captain America??

Just because Marvel wants him, doesn’t mean they are going to get him. Studios and production companies put together their wish lists when they are casting and work their way down the list. I personally believe DiCaprio is an odd choice. To me, Leo’s tall and lanky figure is perfect for Steve Rogers pre-super soldier serum but I wonder how they are going to make Leo look like a bulked up super soldier. (They Can't....don't even try!!!) Don’t get me wrong, he has the chops for the role but DiCaprio is awfully busy these days developing ATARI, FLEMING and a host of other projects over at Appian way.

Marvel is aiming real high when it comes to talent and rightfully so, it has paid off for them tremendously. I believe to get DiCaprio, they’re gonna have to nail down a kick ass script and a director first.

You know who else is also on the list in case they don’t get DiCaprio?

BRAD PITT (Much Better!!!!)

Marvel wants to be in the Brad Pitt business. They are willing to cast him either as THOR or CAPTAIN AMERICA. Now Brad Pitt as Captain America would be bad ass but as it stands right now…

Apparently this cool image was stumbled onto at New York’s Licensing Expo......get ready for a whole lotta Marvel films the next three years

I can't wait for all these films

I don't think Leonardo diCaprio would be up for the role even if he was asked..........I just can't see him as Captain America at all. Neil McDonaugh has that clean cut all American look to him so I'd say he'd be better for the part.......and he has lovely eyes too that would look good in the mask

It's great they're bringing out all these kind of films

McDonough is far too small of an actor to play the role for my liking....I also think they need a more heart throb type in the role and he ain't it....

though I prefer him than 'the boy' DiCaprio urrrggghhhhh what are they even thinking there??

I'm not saying he'd be perfect for the role Luc but he's better than diCaprio

I can't think of anyone else at the moment though

Butler would be good babe..but it just shows there are actors that can suit the role I think quicker than Leo Di..CRAP..io

Arnie is too Austrian Sta I'm afraid..Captain America really is mean't to be American though he does have the body
