Well the last time i posted about this i had just resumed my passion for collecting old VHS tapes (mainly the elusive banned DPP39.......which i now have 31 of).........my collecting has slowed as many of these tapes fetch hundreds of pounds

so...............who has collectable pre cert's? (pre cert tapes are tapes made 1984 and prior to this certification date)............some of you could have some gems; some of the most collectable tapes are boring crap; so you never know how good some of your stuff may be......

just for fun - i am not poaching - but if anyone has something rare i could tell you something nice LOL

for me i have a mardi gras massacre and a gestapos last orgy (MGM worth £200 and GLO around £100) yippppppeeee

come on dig those old tapes out

I don't think I've got any pre cert tapes   I'll have to check my tapes out tonight and let you know!

I just remembered these 2 I've got on VHS....

Portrait of Jenny......that's definitely not got any rating on it.

Hairspray (John Waters film).......I can't recall seeing a rating on it but I'll check it out later.

I've had a look at my VHS tapes and Portrait of Jenny is the only one without a rating!

Interesting site......and to think I've been giving my VHS tapes to charity shops when I've replaced them with DVDs   I could have given away a fortune!

I come across tons of tapes at carboots so I'll start looking out for pre cert ones now!

I can't say as I've come across those titles at carboots....I'm sure I'd remember them if I had! What makes them so valuable.......did they only release a few copies of each film as pre certs?
