"District 9" star Sharlto Copley is now confirmed and Jessica Biel is in final talks to join "The A-Team" movie for 20th Century Fox says Variety.

As reported last week, Copley will play Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock while Biel is set to play an Army general pursuing the team who is the ex-love of 'Faceman' (Bradley Cooper).

Liam Neeson and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson also star in the Joe Carnahan-directed action-adventure which begins filming this Fall in Vancouver. Ridley Scott, Jules Daly and Stephen J. Cannell are producing.

Biel an Army General?????

for gods sake is she not far far too young for a rank that big? and why do they have to have the persuing enemy a woman??? don't get me wrong I want to see beautiful good actresses like Biel in films like this but christ lets keep them realistic too its like casting Mini Me as BA

if she was a Captain or Lt. I'd say fair enough .....even a Colonel is pushing it but a General????

I'm pleased Sharlto Copley's in it cause he was brilliant in District 9...very likeable and believable! Apparently, he's more of a producer/director than an actor and he improvised a lot of his dialogue in District 9.

Speaking of young, female majors...wasn't there one in Buck Rogers?!

Yeah but in the army a 'Major' rank is lower than a Lt.Colonel or Colonel
in the Navy its lower than a Commander

If she was a Major I wouldn't have a problem babe but the way things are now it would be the ludicrous situation of a 20ish aged woman playing not only someone who outranks all of the A Team including a Late 50's Neeson's Hannibal but she also will carry the highest rank in the army.......its simply mad!!! And the only reason its not questioned by others is the fact thats it is a female part

If they really wanted a woman in the role...it should be a woman who looks the part and age for a rank of that magnitude like Helen Mirren, Judy Dench Sigourney Weaver, etc....

Ooh those ranks are too confusing! I like the idea of Sigourney Weaver as a major though!

Well Sigourney would get away with being a General too because she the look and age for that rank ....how can a girl in her twenties obtain a rank like that?? ...no Biel is all wrong
