The Telegraph is reporting that Johnny Depp's in line to play The Riddler in the next Batman film, but the most surprising news is they're saying Cher could be Catwoman! A spokesman said "Cher is Nolan's first choice to play Catwoman. He wants her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry's purring creations."

If it's true and Cher gets the part, I think she'd be good!

I actually strangely like the idea myself ...its a different take on Catwoman who was mainly seen before as a sexy character but Cher might bring another dimension to the role never seen before ...though I still trhink so could Monica Bellucci

Don't let them put Cher in it, or she might have to sing too- and that's a fate worse than death for anyone who sees the film!

I never thought of that

I'm telling you ...If she has that electronic singing voice she uses when she's playing Catwoman she will need the nine lives because I doubt I will be the only one who will want to kill her

Though I do think she is quite a good actress when she wants to be

When she sings it sounds as if some poor tech guy has fed her lines into a PC speech programme, she sounds like a robot! And I hope she doesn't get the part, we need someone better/sexier I reckon....
