Well, i watched this last night, and what a pile

i love Jack Black, but this film was so flimsy i thought at times that i was a victim of irony and that someone truly had erased the film and taped some rubbish over the top.

as we all know be kind centres video store staff who decide to remake their catalogue of movies after they are all erased.............these parts are decent, but what is'nt is the sub plots and the script which is held together with blue tac

overall 3 1/2 out of 10

I'm the same Scorps....... I'd been looking forward to seeing it ever since I first heard about it, but I was disappointed. I thought it'd be this great comedy film with lots of laughs but it seemed.....subdued somehow, as if they were going for the heart-warming angle rather than having great comedy moments mixed in with the heart-warming stuff. The subdued feel spread to the actors too cause it felt like they were on auto pilot most of the time.

The only time I laughed was when Jack Black got magnetised and it showed him walking away from the store.......disappointing film that should have been so much better.

Yes that bit was good (wih the fence)..........i did laugh a few times - but nowhere near enough

It was such a great idea for a movie too........maybe it'll get remade some day and have more comedy in it!

Don't let us put you off Luc......you might enjoy it better than we did!

I'd be curious to hear what you made of it if you see it!
