This was on E4 last night and I really liked it. I hadn't seen it in a long while but still I found it really funny! The 'shagadelic' spy is frozen in the 1960s and resurfaces in the nineties, moving in with a former conquest's daughter and adapting to his new surroundings while still trying to be the man he was thirty years ago and working on stopping his nemesis Dr Evil from destroying the world with a nuclear warhead.

Mike Myers is brilliant in the roles of Powers and Dr Evil, I always rated him and he cracks me up. Some of the best lines in it belong to Powers, and Dr Evil gets some good little gags in, particularly with regard to his son Scott (played by Seth Green). Plus there's no effort to disguise the film- it's a brilliant spoof of James Bond and everything that film stands for.

Liz Hurley is some nice eye candy, as is whoever played a certain rudely named Italian henchwoman of Dr Evil's! One of my favourite comedies ever, along with the second film in the series.

I love this series of movies too......I think its very easy for films like this to get sloppy as they go on but in fairness to Myers he has kept up the quality in them all.....Of all the women in all the films though Heather Graham really floated my boat I have to admit

Actually there is scope for a Dr Evil film, his background was only briefly explained throughout the originals so perhaps its time for Myers to tell the whole story.

I can't wait to see this on film

Dr. Evil: The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.
